Betting on underdogs in soccer matches

Tottenham Hotspur hosts Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a match from the 36th round of the Premier League. Here are our Betting on underdogs in soccer matches for this clash.

It’s pretty clear that Tottenham are focusing on Europa League now. Spurs had a terrible season in the Premier League. Ange Postecoglou’s team is 16th in the standings with 38 points. Spurs have won just 11 of their matches since the beginning of the campaign. That’s pretty bad, especially for a club with so much ambition.

Tottenham won just one of their last four matches in the Premier League. They had three consecutive losses, until winning a point against West Ham last weekend – 1-1 at the London Stadium. Wilson Odobert scored Spurs’ only goal in the match.

This week Tottenham have a decisive 1/2-finals match against Bodo/Glimt in Europa League, so Ange Postecoglou will rotate the line-up once again. As we said – Tottenham are not playing for anything in the league anymore.

Crystal Palace are having a bit better season. They started badly, but now they are 12th in the league with 46 points. Oliver Glasner’s team stabilised its performances, but the current form is not good – no wins in the last five matches.

Last weekend Palace made a draw, too – their third consecutive one. Glasner’s boys hosted Nottingham Forest at home, and got a point after a 1-1 draw. Eberechi Eze scored Palace’s only goal in the game from a penalty kick.

Jean Philippe Mateta remains Crystal Palace’s deadliest player. The French striker has scored 14 goals in the league since the beginning of the season. It remains to be seen if he will stay in the team for at least one more season.

That’s the Betting on underdogs in soccer matches for the Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. Good luck!
