High-odds football predictions this weekend
It’s time for the Italian Roman derby once again because Roma faces Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday. This is a game from the 31st round of the Serie A. Just like always, we expect a lot of passion and emotion from these two rivals. Let’s preview it in our High-odds football predictions this weekend.
Both teams are playing better with their new managers. Daniele De Rossi allowed Roma to climb to 5th place in the Serie A standings. Now the Wolves are just five points behind the 4th Bologna, and once again they dream of returning to the Champions League. Surely the decision to sack Jose Mourinho and appoint De Rossi is leading to some positive results for Roma.
Last weekend Roma lost two precious points, though. The Wolves paid a visit to Lecce, but the game ended with no goals scored – 0-0. Now De Rossi could think about changing the line-up a little bit against Lazio. Players lika Dybala, El Shaarawy and Aouar could be in contention to start.
Lazio are also improving since the sacking of Maurizio Sarri. The win over Frosinone was followed by an impressive 1-0 win against Juventus at the Olimpico. It was an official debut for the new head coach Igor Tudor – the Croatian couldn’t have dreamed of a better debut. It was a dramatic ending of the game as Adam Marusic scored a late winner in the 93th minute.
It was a surprising decision from Tudor to leave Ciro Immobile on the bench while Valentin Castellanos started from the first minute. Now the question is – will he start Immobile against the Eagles? Or maybe Castellanos will get the nod again?
That’s the High-odds football predictions this weekend for the upcoming Roman derby between Roma and Lazio at the Olimpico. Both teams look in a good shape at the moment. Let’s see!
